The all-new 2027 Chevrolet Bolt lineup consists of LT and RS trim levels. The LT is attractively affordable, while the RS adds a sporty element to the compact hatchback EV. Both trims feature updated front and rear fascias with new lighting designs that give the hatchback an unashamedly contemporary appearance. The RS features exclusive styling cues, including unique grille badging, high-gloss black wheels, and gloss black roof rails that create a more aggressive stance. Seven exterior colours will be available across the lineup, with the RS offering an exclusive Atomic Yellow finish paired with red interior accent stitching. The compact dimensions enable easy manoeuvrability in tight urban spaces, while the hatchback configuration offers versatile cargo capacity and easy loading. Both trims have 17-inch wheels, with three different finishes available to personalise the look.
The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt utilizes GM's X76 electric drive unit, featuring a single front-mounted motor that produces 210 horsepower. This permanent-magnet motor utilizes minimal rare-earth materials to reduce costs, while segmented magnets minimize heat buildup and energy loss. Silicon carbide inverter materials minimise energy loss between the battery and drive unit for improved efficiency. A 65-kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack powers the system, delivering an estimated range of up to 410 kilometres on a full charge. This chemistry proves to be durable and cost-effective, even when handling regular charging to full capacity. The Chevrolet Bolt becomes Chevrolet's first vehicle equipped with a native NACS charging port, providing direct access to an expanding network of fast chargers across North America. With DC fast-charging capability up to 150 kW, the battery recharges from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 26 minutes. This represents roughly 2.5 times faster charging than the previous generation. A new blended regenerative braking system captures more energy during deceleration and returns it to the battery, extending the vehicle’s range. Front-wheel drive sends power to the road while the compact electric drivetrain maintains a low centre of gravity for stable handling.

The cabin undergoes a thorough redesign, with two large displays dominating the interior. An 11.3-inch diagonal touchscreen handles infotainment duties while an 11-inch driver information centre keeps important vehicle data clearly visible. Google built-in provides voice control through Google Assistant for hands-free help with navigation, entertainment, and more. The system provides real-time travel information, along with charging recommendations, to help plan longer trips. While parked, occupants can access streaming services, gaming, and web browsing through the touchscreen. The centre console is redesigned with more space and cup holders sized for modern insulated tumblers. Evotex seating material comes standard on the RS trim level and is available as an option on the LT. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel provide comfort during cold weather. Available features include ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof. Multicolour ambient lighting is available to customise the cabin atmosphere. Underfloor storage provides up to 113 litres of additional cargo space beneath the main load floor. USB-C ports throughout the cabin provide modern device connectivity. Available Super Cruise driver assistance capability offers hands-free highway driving with automatic lane changes and route following, backed by a three-year trial period.

The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt represents a careful evolution of an electric vehicle that earned genuine customer loyalty through its practical design and affordable price. The combination of improved charging compatibility, faster DC charging speeds, and updated interior technology makes the all-new model a compelling option. With a range of up to 410 kilometres, the Bolt handles daily commutes and longer trips without range anxiety concerns. The addition of the RS trim brings sporty styling to the lineup for the first time, while the LT continues to offer solid value. The 2027 Bolt delivers the electric driving experience that made its predecessor so popular, with an added layer of refinement and capability that reflects years of customer feedback and engineering development.
