When properly equipped, a 2023 Silverado 3500 HD is rated to tow a maximum 16,329 kg (36,000 pounds) and the maximum payload can be as much as 3,376 kg (7,442 pounds), but no 2500 HD or 3500 HD specification is in any way a lightweight as far as payload and towing capability are concerned.
