The Stingray is the starting point in the Chevrolet Corvette lineup, but there’s nothing basic about it. It uses a mid-mounted 6.2-litre LT2 V-8 that produces up to 495 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque when equipped with the performance exhaust. Power goes to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, a major factor in the car's performance. Acceleration is immediate, and the shifts happen quickly without interrupting the power delivery. The Stingray is available in 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trims, and each one can be specified as a coupe or convertible. The 1LT focuses on the fundamentals, including Brembo brakes, staggered 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system. The 2LT adds features that most people will notice straight away, including heated and ventilated seats, a head-up display, and additional driver-assistance systems. The 3LT moves further into premium territory with GT2 seats, extended leather trim, and a more detailed interior finish.
The Z06 takes a completely different approach to performance. Instead of adding electrification, it focuses entirely on extracting as much performance as possible from a naturally aspirated engine. The 5.5-litre LT6 V-8 uses a flat-plane crankshaft and produces 670 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. It revs far higher than a traditional Chevrolet Corvette engine, and the character is completely different as a result. Like the other models, the Z06 uses an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, but everything around it is more track-focused. The chassis, cooling systems, and aerodynamics are all developed with that purpose in mind. Available packages add carbon-fiber aero components, further increasing downforce for high-speed stability. The Z06 is offered in 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ trims, again with coupe and convertible options. Even the base version includes carbon-ceramic brakes and a full digital driver display. Higher trims add the expected comfort and technology features, but the focus here remains firmly on performance.
The E-Ray adds something completely new. It combines the 6.2-litre LT2 V-8 with a front-mounted electric motor, creating an electrified all-wheel-drive system. The combined output is 655 horsepower, making it the quickest Chevrolet Corvette available in a straight line, apart from the outrageous ZR1X. The electric motor drives the front wheels, while the V-8 powers the rear. It also introduces Stealth Mode, which allows short-distance electric-only driving at low speeds. Like the Stingray, the E-Ray is available in 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ trims, with coupe and convertible body styles offered across the lineup. Standard features include carbon-ceramic brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, and a wide-body design that visually separates it from the Stingray. The higher trims follow the same pattern, adding features such as a head-up display, premium audio, and more detailed interior materials.
The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette lineup now covers more ground than any previous version. The Stingray delivers the core experience most people expect. The E-Ray adds all-wheel drive and electrification without losing the V-8. The Z06 pushes the platform as far as it will go with a naturally aspirated engine that behaves nothing like a traditional American V-8.
